Location/Comprehension/Modification Cycle

Local Developer

Current Definition
In using programmable high-functionality applications or DODEs, local developers emerge within communities which engage in collaborative work practices. Local developers are often domain designers who are interested to understand more about a computaitonal artifact to be able to modify and extent it. The sociological existence of local developers makes evolutionary growth and end-user modifiability more realistic goals.
